Around the Spectrum Therapy is an outpatient speech-language therapy practice located in Wyomissing, PA. We provide individualized speech and language services for children with a wide range of communication needs.

Helpful Information

  • We commonly receive referrals for children who present with:

    • Expressive and/or receptive language delays

    • Speech sound disorders or reduced speech intelligibility

    • Social communication differences

    • Need for AAC evaluation, implementation, or ongoing support

    • Fine motor delays impacting daily activities, play, or school participation

    • Sensory processing differences affecting regulation, participation, or independence

    • Difficulties with self-care skills such as dressing, feeding, grooming, or toileting

    • Visual motor, motor planning, or coordination challenges

    • Ongoing speech-language or occupational therapy needs requiring outpatient services

    If you are unsure whether outpatient speech therapy or occupational therapy is appropriate, we are happy to discuss a referral.

  • Services are individualized and grounded in a child-centered, strengths-based approach. Therapy may include play-based, developmentally informed intervention tailored to each child’s profile. Collaboration with families and other providers is incorporated as appropriate.

  • We are in-network with a wide range of Blue Cross plans, including Capital Blue Cross, Independence Blue Cross, Anthem Blue Cross, and many out-of-state Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. We also accept Highmark Blue Shield, including plans through the Central Pennsylvania Teamsters Health & Welfare Fund, Cigna, and Aetna. Private pay is accepted as well. We are not in-network with Medical Assistance.

  • We provide outpatient speech-language and occupational therapy services for children ages 1–12.

  • Referrals can be submitted by fax or families may contact our office directly to initiate services.
